We are a community of Jesus followers living in East End Park who are learning how to pray for our neighbourhood. You can join us in praying for East End Park for 50 days (April 27 to June 15) by signing up for a prayer slot (anything from 30 mins). To do this all you have to do is create a comment in the post below outlining who you are & when you'd like to pray. Let us know where you're from & we'll pray for your neighbourhood too. the start of 50 days

Why fifty days?
It seems to us that part of God's dream imagined within the bible is for a community that is just economically, socially and spiritually. Realising the human tendency to run away from this, God gives Israel various rhythms to enact which help them to re-form and realise this. The jubilee year is one of these, a celebration of 7 sabbaths every 50 years, when the poor are restored within the community. We've realised that we need rhythms in our lives that will help us to remember who we are called to be in East End Park. Therefore throughout the year we are doing a series of mini-jubilees, fifty days where we focus on different aspects of our formation. Our current jubilee is 'fifty daysof prayer' and we've love you to join us.
What to pray for?
1. Neighbourhood: a. Pray that people of different cultures would learn to live together. b. Pray for the local elections (1st May). Pray for the youth service work in the area. That we would be able to support, encourage and help local youth workers and young people.

Who are we?
We are a Salvation Army community of 12 people who have moved into East End Park to discover more of God's grace and purpose for our lives and this neighbourhood.
